Nigel Seaman. ARMCM, ARNCM

Nigel has been the band's Principal Conductor and Musical Director since 1997. During this time the band have had numerous contest successes  with Nigel and also delivered many many entertaining and varied concerts.

We wish Nigel well and look forward to continuing our long term and enjoyable working relationship with him as our musical director.

Nigel was born in Denbigh, North Wales and studied at the Royal Manchester and Royal Northern College of Music. He moved to South Wales in 1975 to join the orchestra of the Welsh National Opera as principal tuba and two years later joined the BBC National Orchestra of Wales as principal tuba.
